U!RCommons Day
The first U!RCommons Day was a great success! Over 70 students and teachers from the participating U!REKA universities were presenting initial results, project ideas and were discussing amongst each other at the special exchange event. Students from the MA “Performative Arts in Social Fields” at the Frankfurt UAS conducted a lively warm up and the special guest, dancer Richard Oberscheven offered a short dancing workshop input straight from Heidelberg, Germany.
In break-our discussions the students and teachers got to know each other and discussed their approaches to the common topic of urban commons from their personal and specific disciplinary angles. Notes of the lively discussions were secured in padlets that are available as pdf versions below.
The event surely sparked an interest in taking the project a step further on an international level and in the upcoming exhibitions in Frankfurt and Helsinki.
