PerformativeCRASH
Preparing a blended exchange between the Master’s degree programme Creativity and Arts in Social and Health Fields CRASH in collaboration with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, MA Performative Arts in Social Fields.
In the initial online meetings in November and December 2021 the students got to know each other and presented the concepts for their practice oriented MA projects. They exchanged themselves about possible international collaborations and in small groups developed common project ideas that brought together their approaches and media. These were presented and discussed in front of the plenum. The preparation meeting gave the organizers of the more long term BIP exchange project, planned for 2022, insights into the common liveworlds, and common position, as well as the high potential of the exchange in fostering international collaboration and the reflection of professional roles in an international and interdisciplinary context.
The aims for further developing the programme are to enable the students to reflect on and critically evaluate their professional field, its operational cultures and practices and the theoretical assumptions having an impact on them. Furthermore, to reconstruct the professional culture and practice in the use of creativity and arts to promote health, well-being and inclusion, in interaction with other experts of different professional fields. And to able to critically evaluate those structures of society and organisations that have an impact in the use of creativity, culture and arts to promote well-being, and to develop new solutions in these structures in multidisciplinary collaboration.
