Urban Commons and City Development: BIP (Blended Intensive Program) Preparation Workshop: 28. April 2022, 12:00-16:00 (CET)

Students presented their initial research on urban commons initatives in the different cities concerning the topics of mobility (bicycle and cargo-bike sharing, bike repair, car-sharing, traffic management), housing, recreation, services, technology. Common issues and problems (and the aspects of the project’s ressources, community, and management) became apparent. The concept of (urban) commons was discussed and elements of citizen participation, common governance, (non-)profit orientation, and ecological issues were identifed.
