U!REKA Award for Co-Creation

Students of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences have received the U!REKA Award for Co-Creation, which was presented to student representatives from Frankfurt at U!REKA Connects in Helsinki in May 2025. An excursion project with Frankfurt participation was also honoured. In the student-run and commons-space “Filter Cafe” the award was handed over to the students on 28.05.2025.

We are very happy for this recognition of student engagement in the U!REKA Lab: Urban Commons and the U!REKA Lab: Co-Creativity in Social Arts, as well as the many BIPs, online exchanges and the documentation and representation to the outside world in conferences and lectures. This demonstrates the great commitment of students to U!REKA and European exchange, the successful work across degree programmes and our co-creative collaboration between students, lecturers and employees, including in the media workshop of the Department of Social Work and Health.
